New York

I have been to New York many times and usually stay for a while. Earlier this year, I took a short weekend trip and had a wonderful time. I flew out of New Orleans and landed at Laguardia around three in the afternoon. The perfect time, to have a fun afternoon. First, I walked around Times Square for a bit and then took a bus tour. In all of the times I have been I always love to walk and see things, but the bus allowed me to slow down and see new things. The bus tour lasted about three hours and it ended with us being dropped off at the Rockefeller center. I always love spending time at the Rockefeller tree when I go in the winter, it was a bit different to see the place covered in tables prepared for summer. After walking fifteen thousand steps that afternoon, it was time for bed. . Although, I was in the city that never sleeps, I rested up that night and prepared for a long day of solo adventures. I woke up Saturday and headed to the Ralph's coffee truck at the Rockefeller center and then began exploring midtown with my coffee. I went to Saint Patrick's Cathedral, the New York Public Library, Bryant Park, and Macy's. The city drains you fast so I headed back to my room to rest up before heading out for the night. That night I went to Summit One Vanderbilt which was a great observation deck. It featured three different levels to look down at the city from, it started on the ninety first floor. I had a great time on this short weekend trip!
